Vibert pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving with an excess breath alcohol limit, on the basis he was not aware of the vodka he had consumed from the jelly.
He was sentenced to 100 hours of community service and banned from getting behind the wheel for one year and one day.
The case comes after he was previously convicted of two drink-driving offences, according to stuff.co.nz.
