Many who have said 'I do' once say 'never again' when the divorce comes through, but newlyweds Ronan and Storm Keating, who have both been married before, instead say, 'we've got it right this time'.

Boyzone singer Ronan, 38, married Storm Uechtritz, 34, in August this year after they met through The X Factor Australia in 2012 - the same year they broke up with their respective partners.

It's now been four months since their wedding and the loved-up pair spoke to FEMAIL about how they still have to pinch themselves over being husband and wife, and say that marriage is about 'having your best friend by your side'.

Ronan was married to Yvonne Connolly for 14 years and they had three children together before they separated in 2012 after she struggled to get past Ronan's affair with a Boyzone backing dancer.

At the same time, TV producer Storm split from her Sydney financial director husband Tim Iver, and it is believed she and Ronan began dating just months later.

Ronan also reportedly proposed to Storm just days after his divorce was finalised in April this year.

So have they got it right this time, FEMAIL asked?

'Totally,' said Storm with her sunny Australian twang. 'I get a lot of joy out of the simple things with Ro.

'When you meet that person that ticks every box and makes you feel completely on top of the world every day just by doing nothing at all, that's incredible.

'Every day you feel like you are where you're meant to be and you've got so much to be grateful for - and happy, I'm just happy every day.

'To cement that in marriage and to know that we've got it right this time, you get so much strength out of that.'

'It's having your best friend by your side, you know? It's quite incredible,' chimes in Ronan with his distinct husky Irish tones.

'It's been unbelievable, I'm in my element,' he added.

'When you feel like you can just be the person you want to be and breathe like you want to breathe. I know there's a lot of cliches in there but it's incredibly magic.'

Storm explained that they were both very young when they married before and 'didn't really know what love was back then'.

Storm and Ronan married at luxury estate and golf club Archerfield House in East Lothian, Scotland, in front of close family and friends - including Ed Sheeran who sang for them.

In the same week, Storm's dad and brother had a joint 60th and 40th party.

'We had a week of celebrations and then we went on our honeymoon - a two-week safari in South Africa - so it was just the greatest time, it was amazing,' said Ronan.

Are they suffering from post-wedding blues now?

'No, we're still buzzing,' said Storm. 'Every day we wake up we just keep reminding each other "oh my gosh, we are married!".'

'Yeah I keep saying to Storm, "you're my wife!",' added Ronan.
